Description:
This Winchester 1876 in .45-60 was manufactured in 1882 making this an 1876 second model rifle. The receiver maintains some original bluing with mostly gray patina throughout the stee of the firearm. The stock appears to be original and have typical handling marks and deep scratches on both forearm and butt stock. The forearm does have a crack that runs 1/3 of the forearm on the right side of the firearm. the bore condition is overall good considering it was manufactured during the black powder era. The bore however does show wear and slight corrosion in places. This firearm is missing the correct thumbprint dust cover. The magazine tube appears to have been refinished, as it does not match the overall condition of the firearm. However, this firearm is mechanically solid.
