Description:
SKB made this series of shotguns from 1967 to 1977. The Ithaca Model 280 featured a straight English style grip, beavertail forearm, 25" barrels, a single selctive trigger, and automatics ejectors. The walnut stock has a 14-1/4" length of pull over a 1" Pachmayr recoil pad. The bores are perfect, and are choked improved cylinder and modified. All functions work as they should, the action locks up tight, and the lever sits right of center. The condition is excellent with the original blue rating at 95%. The stock and forend are also very nice, showing only minor handling marks scattered throughout. We do not see many of these fine little guns for sale, particularly in 20 Gauge. They are great handling upland game guns that should also continue to appreciate in value.
