I will accept a reasonable offer on every listing. Description: Completed in 1925. 30" vent rib barrels choked Full x Full with ejectors, excellent bores and 98% all original blueing. Barrels ring true and are of the reinforced variety. Featherweight action locks up tight and on face with all numbers matching. Standard Crown grade (grade 5) engraving with dog and bird scenes. Engraving is all crisp and case color is present at about 95%. It shows up better in person than in the pictures due to all the engraving. Breech faces show the gun has not been shot much. Single selective trigger. Gun has been restocked by Wenig and it is a perfect job, better than some LC Smith factory fits I have seen. Beautiful highly figured AAA walnut. Gun is 95%+ overall with modern dimensions and very little wear. LOP is 15" to the LC Smith hard rubber buttplate. Drop is 1 3/8" and 2 3/8". Cast is neutral. 6 pounds 14 ounces. All numbers match and gun is a stunner. 149 Crowns were made in 20 gauge and nearly none with 30" barrels and vent rib. I would estimate it is one of 5 at the most. Cody letter is at the end of the pics. Rarity, condition, high grade and small gauge equals a sure to appreciate Elsie. I purchased this gun for a friend 15 years ago and it has tripled in value in that time. Make me a reasonable offer. mikeej99hotmail SOLD Curio/Relic: Yes Manufacturer: LC Smith Model: Crown Bore: 20 Chambers: 2 3/4 Ejectors: yes Condition: excellent Metal Condition: excellent Wood Condition: excellent Bore Condition: excellent Barrels: 30 Barrel Type: nitro Action: sxs Triggers: Hunter One SST Gauge Info: 20 Stock Cast: neutral Manufacture Date: 1925 Item Location: mikeej99hotmail |
