Description:
Winchester Model 101 Skeet Gun, over-and-under, 12 gauge shotgun, with extractors. The barrels are 26-inches with 2 ¾ inch chambers. Both barrels are skeet choke. Top barrel has ventilated rib with muzzle and mid-barrel beads. Top barrel is labeled on the left side with “MODEL 101 – WINCHESTER – 12 GAUGE-2 ¾ “ and “NEW HAVEN CONN. – U.S.A.” On the right side it is labeled with “MADE IN JAPAN”. Bores are in excellent condition. The finish on metal and wood is all original. Barrels are 99 percent, with no marks, except a few rubs where the forearm contacts the bottom of the barrel. The lockbox is 98+ percent and is engraved with no marks, except a little around the safety slide. The lockbox is 98+ percent and is engraved with a decorative pattern on both side, the top, and bottom. The trigger guard is in similar condition and is also engraved. The forearm is excellent condition with no sign of wear and no mars or scratches. The stock is likewise in excellent condition with a few very small. None penetrate the finish, except maybe one small dent about half the size of a bb, in the left side just above the front of the trigger guard (visible in the photo). The checkering on the grip and forearm is deep and fine with no damage. The orange rubber White Line recoil pad is original equipment and is still supple. One screw hole in the rubber is open. All serial numbers match – tang, barrel, and forearm. LOP is 14 ¼ inches. The drop at the heel is 2 ½ inches. The drop at comb is 1 ¾ inches. The photos are high resolution, so zoom to see details. I will accept a personal check which I will hold until it clears. I will also accept a USPS money order which I do not have to hold, as it clears immediately. Must ship to FFL.
