Description:

Percussion 12 Gauge Shotgun. American made circa 1865-1875. Very interesting gun! Barrel is 12 Gauge and is made from a Civil War rifle, and is Ohio marked and U.S. cartouche at the breech. Ohio / U.S. marked guns were issued to Ohio militia units. This barrel has been converted to a 12 Gauge smoothbore. Lock is marked “Warranted” and is engraved Breech plug Tang is also engraved. Double keyed stock is solid. Gun has a brown patina. Barrel length is 29” and overall 46” long
