Description:
Engraved Parker Brothers GH Grade Double 12 Gauge Shotgun, serial number 59,XXX manufactured 1889. Features single steel bead front sight on solid matte rib, 30” Damascus barrels, 2 ¾” chambers with extractor, choked improved cylinder/improved cylinder. Box lock action is scroll engraved with “PARKER BROS” & game scenes on both sides as well as underside. Water Table is marked with patent dates & serial number. Double triggers & tang safety. Checkered pistol grip stock with checkered hard rubber grip cap & checkered hard rubber buttplate with logo. LOP 14 ¼”. Markings are crisp throughout. Overall in good condition with strong Damascus pattern on barrels. Shootable bore with some pitting. Action retains 20% of the original casehardened finish with strong traces of case colors in protected areas. The wood has been sanded with slight scratches & dings.
