Description:
Cal 38-40. 5-1/2" bbl. Features rare factory full nickel finish. Overall gun is in excellent condition with an unusual 2-line barrel address missing the first character if each line. 5-1/2" barrels typically have a single line barrel address. The frame has the 2-line patent marking and the Rampant Colt insignia. Manufactured in 1901. VG checkered hard rubber grips. Mechanics are excellent. About 60% original nickel remains. Comes complete with Factory Letter and an interesting document from Red Jackson who owned it in 1970. He later sold it to Tommy Rholes, a serious collector and true gentleman from Texas.
