Lindsay U.S. Model 1863 Two Shot Musket. Only about 1000 of these were made from 1861 to 1863. This design was an unusual two-shot superposed load. The musket often fired both loads at the same time. The result would be the rifle being destroyed! Musket is in excellent condition with a mint bore! Stock shows minor handling and storage wear. Cartouches are perfect. The history of these muskets makes them scarce and rare to own!
