It still has decent lands and grooves. It will rate about a five on a one to ten scale. The important thing, it does have the Sinclair Hamilton mark on the stock. You can still see the S over CS along with a partial arrow. The last two pictures clearly shows the S/CS. The action is especially tight. Full cock and half cock are still very strong. The wood is ok. Notice the damage to the front of the butt plate on the left side. It is shown clearly in the pictures. The lock plate does have the crown and is dated 1862.
