U.S. Springfield 1886 Experimental Trapdoor .45-70 caliber rifle. Rare Springfield 1886 Experimental Trapdoor carbine! This is one of only 1000 guns ever made. Barrel is a gray patina. Stock is in great sharp with minor dings. Bore is great does have some minor frosting in the front. Rear sight has the “XC” stamp. A beautiful rare gun to own!
