Developed in conjunction with Gunsite, one of the premier firearms training facilities in the world, Ruger's Scout Bolt-Action Rifle is packed with Gunsite-approved features that make it one of the lightest, hardest hitting firearms on the market. It offers a built-in accurate sighting system with ghost ring adjustable rear aperture sight, nonglare front-post sight, integral scope mounts and a forward-mounted Picatinny rail that accepts modern optics. Lightweight, black composite stock features a forward aluminum bedding block and rear aluminum pillar, as well as a soft rubber buttpad with buttpad spacers that allow proper sizing for different shooters. Free-floating, cold hammer-forged 16.1” barrel enhances accuracy. Two 10-round detachable box magazines with push-forward Mini-14®-style release. Nonrotating, Mauser-type controlled round feed extractor. Also includes a rugged, one-piece stainless steel bolt, glass-reinforced nylon trigger guard and magazine well, three-position safety and sling swivel studs. This Gunsite Scout is in like-new-in-box condition factory second model with full Ruger warranty.
