Description:
.44 caliber, 8" round barel, six shot rebated cylinder with roll engraved scene. Casehardened 4 screw frame, and one piece walnut grip. Unusual factory military overrun showing some of the parts with inspector's initials but was finished and sold as a commercial. The four screw frame is out of the normal serial range 130xxx and was most likely intended to be sold with the four screw stock arrangement. In fine original condition with the barrel and cylinder showing a pleasing gray/brown patina. The frame has silvering case colors and grips are very fine with most of the varnish remaining. All matching numbers except the wedge. Good bore.
