This Colt was produced in 1930. The pistol's serial number is C 158898. This pistol is the standard Army model 1911-A1. The original barrel is in new condition. These near new grips are original to this pistol. The checkering is sharp with no flattened points. The slide is correctly serial numbered to the frame. The magazine is the correct two tone civilian magazine. This Colt has seen very little use or being fired. The barrel retains almost all of the original bluing as well as the high polish breech end surface. This is a Colt that is in almost new condition! The original high polish bluing would rate a strong 98% overall condition. This Colt comes with a correct period reproduction box. The box is in new condition with the reproduction papers. The box goes well with this pistol. This is a very handsome looking Colt that certainly will appeal to the serious Colt collector! Search for hlvfineguns on google for more details.
