Made Circa 1850’s
Here we present an antique American Half-Stock Rifle, manufactured circa the 1850s. This rifle represents the type that put food on the table and defended homesteads for several generations in early America. This one features a long, 37-inch octagonal barrel with a .36 caliber bore.
The overall condition is very good. The metal surfaces are dark with age. The stock looks like it is a bit more recent, likely 20th Century. The bore is dark. The action on this rifle is strong. Here is a sharp rifle that should make a fantastic shooter today!
