Description:
We have not seen one of these handy and inexpensive deer rifles in Carbine trim in a long while. Most were 22 or 24" however this carbine has a factory 20" barrel. Chambered in in 30 30 they have also been offered in 22 H, 225, 222 at one time or another. Probably a 50's or early 60's gun in excellent overall condition. Light wear only to blue and wood is almost completely free of any handling marks; wood cond. is about 95% Front site has been modified slighlty to accept a more visable blade. These have always provided an affordable solidly built deer rifle; also for the handloader; since it has box mag unlike most 30 30's which have tube mags on could load pointed soft points, spitzers or ballistic tip (not safe to shoot in guns with tube mags). Nice starter deer or hog gun for a young shooter.
