Description:
Winchester Model 1886 lever action rifle. Serial Number #63813, manufactured in 1892. .50-110 Caliber. (50EX) . 26" round barrel with full magazine a very good bore, showing strong rifling with some scattered spots of light pitting . Metal is very good overall with traces of blue finish remaining on barrel and magazine, in protected areas. Receiver is a silver to grea patina with lightly visible case coloring in protected areas. The lever ,hammer and buttplate also show some remnants of case coloring, also. Markings remain clear. American Black walnut forend ,and straight grip buttstock remain in about very good condition having darkened from the years with mostly worn finish, scattered small dings, scratches. Has the No. 34B Express rear sight. and a Silver beaded dovetailed, front sight. Barrel has the Winchester two line address with caliber designation ("50 EX"). Seems to function very good mechanically . Screw heads are very good showing very little molestation. One on right side of receiver is missing part of the head. Comes with a Cody Firearms Museum Records Check List that matches it's current configuration. Buyer Pays $45.00 shipping to the lower 48 states. I accept USPS Money Orders or Bank Cashier's Check.
