Description:
Deep almost flawless blue typical of quality New Haven Made Winchesters of this era. One little spot top of barrel about 10" back from muzzle keep us from describing the blue at 98%. The finish shows some lightening from being carried but no dings, no damage, no scrapes or even compression marks. A touch of tru oil would restore it to as new.
Fast handling semi auto enable a hunter to get in fast follow up shots without removing ones eye from the sight (or scope pictures) to prevent a wounded animal from escaping and being lost. This is the 2d generation model with pressed checkering and Germanic Oak/Acorn motif.
Comes with Weaver base and rings.
We have many used period correct weaver scopes that may be purchased to complement this fine rifle offered at bargain prices.
