The Winchester Model 61 was made from 1932 to 1963, with approximately 350,000 manufactured. The slide action rifles were fitted with 24 inch round or octagon barrel, rifled or smoothbore, 3/4 tube magazine, open sights, plain pistol grip stock, and chambered in .22 S, .22 L, .22 LR, .22 WRF, or .22 Magnum. This rifle is as described, is fitted with a 24 inch rifled round barrel and chambered in .22 LR.. The gun is in like new condition, retaining 99%+ of its original finish, with an as new bore and as new functioning action. The walnut stock and forearm retain 99% of their original finish, with only a few very minor handling marks on the stock. Comes with its original box and instructions manual.
