The real ‘Dirty Harry’ revolver that started the ‘hand cannon’ craze.
Will also chamber .44 special for painless practice.
3 screw, pre-lock, high polish blue.
4 T’s: Target sights, Target hammer, Target trigger, Target grips.
The -5 model is very significant for the serious shooter.
After claims of high mileage 29’s unlocking and spinning backwards
under recoil were confirmed by high speed p[hotography, S&W engineers
incorporated the Endurance Package in the 29-5.
Included in the Endurance Package were lengthened cylinder bolt stop
notches and larger bolt locks for increased durability.
The current 29 does not incorporate the Endurance Package.
You must step up to the Performance Center 29.
This revolver was made in 1990 and is in excellent 95% condition.
