This is a really nice Smith & Wesson Pre-17 K-22. This one was manufactured in 1949. It has the pinned front site, pinned barrel, recessed cylinder, adjustable rear sight, and is the 5 screw model. It has like new bore and riflings, and a 6 inch barrel. Excellent bluing with the exception of slight holster wear at the muzzle, beautiful case colored trigger and hammer, excellent diamond grips. Gun has no rust. This gun shoots really tight groups with a nice smooth action, double or single. It appears the gun has been fired very little.
