This 45-70 Cal. Trapdoor Carbine early first model “Custer Range” is the real deal, and was found here in Montana on the Blackfeet Reservation. Very early SN# 25xxx and very nice bore, and locks up tight. Looks like the bottom of the stock on the forearm is a bit worn from carrying on horse back for many miles !
