This is a beautiful limited-production 1996 Ruger No.1-S (Medium Sporter) chambered in .338 Winchester Magnum made for the 125th Anniversary of the NRA. Ruger made a total of 550 of these special No.1's to commemorate 125 years of existence for the NRA in 1996. This example is number 538 of 550 (factory serial number 133-22XXX ) and is in unfired, like-new condition. In addition to the normal No.1-S features, this model features a beautiful checkered extra-deluxe American Walnut stock set and an engraved receiver with gold inlays. The high gloss factory blue finish rates 99% plus, and is exactly how it left the factory. The bore in the 24" inch medium weight barrel is mint, bright and pristine with new rifling. The extra fancy deluxe factory stock set is also like-new, with no handling marks or imperfections. The length of pull is 13.75" inches to the end of the factory black recoil pad. Chambered in the powerful and accurate .338 Win. Mag., this Ruger No.1 could take virtually any game in any part of the world.
