Description:
Browning has not made the BSS series of shotguns since 1988, and they have long been considered as one of the best values in a double barrel American made shotgun. This example is in excellent original condition. The original factory blue finish rates 95% with the majority of the finish wear on the triggerguard lower tang. The bores in both barrels are minty and perfect. There is no pitting, dents, or bulges and the gun is choked Modified and Improved Cylinder. The checkered Walnut stock set is in very good shape overall with only some minor dings and handling marks from light field use. The wood is free from any cracks or repairs and still has a great look to it. This BSS has a single selectable trigger and automatic ejectors, both of which work perfectly. This Browning BSS would make a very classy upland game gun particularly in 20 gauge.
