Description:
1909 Argentine Mauser, re-hardended, rust blued, 338-06, Octagon 23" bbl, 7 lbs as pictured, holds 3 down in a blind magazine. Removable return to zero Recknagel rear aperture sight and Warne weaver bases. Williams trigger guard, Dayton Traister trigger, McFarland checkered bolt handle, and gentry safety.
Trim stock, with schnabel forend, gunmaker swivels and skeleton grip cap. Stock is 14 1/2 to a black recoil pad and ~14 3/4 with the leather cuff.
Gun is 98+% condition with some minor blue wear on corners, ineltting at tang could have been better. Apologies for the galre in the pics, I do not have a professional photography set up. What appears to be "stock blemishes" are lighting issues.
Only load I developed was with 200 grain Accubonds and Varget and they were 3/4 of an inch.
