Description:
This looks to be the nicest one out there right now. Factory original inside and out, with only the slightest of handling marks visible under close inspection. Single shot Colt 22 Target Pistol, first year production, before the factory began stamping "Camp Perry" on the side of the cylinder. Not refinshed, enhanced, "touched-up" or otherwise messed-with. Tight lock-up, jiggle-free, with shiny, crisp, pristine bore and chamber. Here are the minor faults we see: 1. slight blue loss behing the muzzle, both sides. 2. slight blue loss RH of frame, behind where the barrel screws in. 3. minor dings on bottom of (matching serial numbered) grips. Serial # 243 dates this to 1926. We consider this example a transition between the prototype series and full production configuration. Includes the pictured factory original box. The box serial number (#362) does not match the gun. Email or call to discuss further. CA OK, C&R OK.
