Mexican Model 1897 Rolling Block 7x57 Caliber Carbine. Scarce Mexican marked carbine. Bore has strong rifling with frosting. Wood has an old repair at the wrist, and shows combat use. Metal has a brown/gray patina. Good overall condition. A rare Mexican carbine model (many of these were scrapped for their actions in the 1960’s).
