BELGIAN “T. BARKER” Double Barrel Hammer Shotgun
“BELGIAN LAMINATED STEEL”
Here we present a Belgian T. Barker Double Barrel Hammer Shotgun in 20 Gauge, made in Liege in the early-1900s. These shotguns were generally imported from Belgium and distributed by the H&D Folsom Co. These shotguns were designed to be field shotguns.
The top of the barrel is marked “BELGIAN LAMINATED STEEL” and “CHOKED BORE”. The lock is marked “T. BARKER”. The underside of the barrels is littered with Belgian proof marks. The butt plate is steel. Length of pull is 14-1/8 inches.
The overall condition is good. Traces of the original blue finish remain with the rest turned dark brown with age. The markings are legible. The stock is in good shape. The bores are clear and semi-bright. The action on this shotgun in strong.
