Up for your consideration is a beautiful , excellant condition , Remington 1903a3 , 30-06 , bolt action Military Rifle serial # 3975867 , with the barrel date of 9-43 . This Rifle has all R parts . The matching barrel date with the receiver number is all correct .From Sept. 1943 the factory started at serial # 3955409 until Oct. 4023788 .Which means the barrel and receiver were married together in the correct sequence .That is what you want . There are no arsenal rebuild marks . The wood is outstanding , no chips or cracks . The front sight blade is a letter C . The front sight base has the R as well as the bands , bolt, follower etc . This Rifle is as good as it gets . The cartouches are correct . The FJA , RA , and flaming bomb are present as well as the cartouches on bottom of rifle ..The bore is a 2 groove and is as perfect as the Rifle , shiney , sharp lands and grooves with no rust or pitts .. The muzzle and throat gauges at less than 1 . The clymer gauges " go gauge " the bolt closes all the way . The "no-go " gauge works as it should , the bolt does not close all the way . I have shot this rifle over the many years I have owned it . If you are a collector , shooter , or wants to own a really nice WWII Rifle , this is the one , tested and true . I guarantee , you will treasure this WWII classic in its original unaltered condition . I will ship in a Plano case from my FFL to your FFL . Postal money order or personal check .
