Hand crafted by Uriah Cap and Clothier, Gettysburg, PA. in 1989, this was a reproduction from his collection. Blue wool body; leather visor with enameled linen trim; correct black cotton linning with correct stitching;leather chin strap withbrass buttons; gold braid on black velvet cavalry insignia. Leather swetband is a replacement. Hat size approx. 7 3/8.
