Harold Corby unique Combat-Survival-Camp-Fighting knife was designed by myself over 33 years ago. All original sketches and templates bearing Harold's personal hand written notes comes with it. This is an exceptional, astonishing, and exquisite knife with Macassar ebony handle and precious material for the spacers, the first and only time Corby did such combination. German silver guard with a rare file work ferrule created by Corby's done in 99.99% pure silver metal, large German silver butt cap, German silver round escutcheon in the handle with 1 of 1. Harold decided to make a unique brown scabbard covered with alligator skin which compliment an already beautiful knife, the only time Corby has ever offered such. I personally went to pick up this model at Corby's home on April 17, 2013 and it is one of the very few knife that were produced that year and certainly the last Masterpiece created by this amazing craftsman. Included are a two-page provenance letter detailing how this knife came to be produced,(see posted pictures). There is a light check, less than 1/2-inch in the ebony handle (see picture). This knife represent the very best creation investment piece as only Corby could do, See Corby's statements in the two-page letter. I have always considered this maker to be America's best-kept secret. Thanks for looking. NOTE: The original postmarked brown clasp envelope dated April 22, 2013 sent by Corby (See picture # 6) is included, as such was drafted after my visit and sent separately). The letter is very important as it holds historical significance since all sketches, designs, original template # 1 thru # 3 and Corby's final revised sketch # 4 (See picture # 6) were enclosed and sent to Yours Truly when Corby mailed such very important documents. As opposed to most makers who will not take the time to write such; the letter it's self-explanatory.
