Description:
Colt Diamondback fitted with a 2 1/2 inch barrel, checkered walnut grips with Colt medallions, blue finished, and chambered in .38 Special. This 1978 vintage Diamondback is in excellent original condition, retaining 98+% of its original blue finish, with only some very light handling marks present, and a slight drag line on the cylinder. There is a small area of discolorartion on the left side of the frame which can be seen in photo 18, but overall this is a very attractive Diamondback in the most desirable barrel length. The grips are in excellent condition, fit well, have sharp checkering, and show no cracks or chips. The bore is excellent and the action is tight and functions perfectly. Included is a reproduction Colt box, but no intructions or paperwork.
