Description:
Weatherby rifles are world renown in big game hunting fields for quality and accuracy. The Vanguard is well suited for long range shooting—so accurate that Weatherby guarantees it will shoot a 3-shot group of .99" or less at 100 yards (SUB-MOA) when used with specified Weatherby factory or premium ammunition. At the heart of the Vanguard's accuracy is a 24", cold hammer forged barrel. The Vanguard features a rugged composite stock with non-slip Griptonite® inserts on the pistol grip and forend, making it a great hunting rifle for extreme weather conditions. A bead-blasted matte blue finish on the metal parts reduces the visibility of the firearm while deer hunting, increasing your odds of success. A hinged floorplate allows for quick and safe unloading of the magazine. This Weatherby rifle is chambered in .257 Weatherby Magnum and is in very good condition; there are marks on the rear of the stock. It includes an extra tan Weatherby stock with black webbing, paperwork, and the original test target.
