Remington Rand National Match 1911 A1, Cal. .45 acp, Ser 2064225.
Be advised that this is a true U.S. Army National Match. Built at the Springfield Arsenal for Army competition. This gun was assembled and fitted with the finest parts available after testing hundreds of samples. The gun was then hand fitted and tuned to give the very best results on the range.
This particular gun has had a Colt National Match slide fitted to a Remington Rand frame. The barrel is numbered 2064225 matching the frame. The front barrel bushing is hand fitted to the barrel is stamped NM 7267718. An adjustable lightweight NM trigger has also been fitted. The rear sight is Micro Sight which is stamped with the Army Crossed Cannons Ordnance mark. The front sight has been replaced with a competition ramp type.
The original brown plastic grips with were replace with checkered walnut ones. They are flawless, as are the grip screws. The gun is a 100% proper National Match. The condition of the gun is outstanding retaining 98-99% of the Springfield Arsenal Parkerizing.
There are two S A stamps on the frame which is correct. The left side of the frame has the original inspector' stamp FJA and a P proof. The bolt face, slide rail and feed ramp show very little use. The barrel is mirror bright with razor sharp rifling.
The gun comes with one correct "S" stamped (Scovill) magazine. On this one you get two guns for one price. A great investment opportunity and a 10x destroyer on the range…….$2995.
