Description:
Ready for youth hunter or shooter, this vintage and somewhat unique beauty was made hatched in August of 1976. These handy little carbines with factory 18 1/2 barrel are known for accuracy and have become desireable to collectors. It was a promotional variation of the vent rib 600 model, made as i recall for Kmart at the time. This is the Mohawk variation chambered in capable but mild recoiling 243 Win. Mohawks were made without the vent rib. Rear site removed for scope clearance; it did not come to us with the rear site however these are avail from various sources.
The stock has been shorted for a youth shooter to approx 12" LOP. We have on hand an excellent full uncut stock from a Mowhawk which we will sell for $ 174.95. The full sized stock has been in our own inventory for many years and did not come with the gun. If a person wanted to buy the rifle for a young shooter and have the full uncut stock for when the young person he or she has grown it may be purchases separately. We also have a synthetic full sized stock for a 600 for $ 50.00
