Canadian proof marked Smith & Wesson .455 Hand Ejector, Second Model, fitted with a 6 1/2 inch barrel, checkered walnut grips with recessed S&W medallions, factory installed lanyard, is blue finished, and chambered in the .455 Mark II Cal.. This S&W was made in 1916 and is all numbers matching (Frame to cylinder, barrel, and crane). Gun is in excellent original condition, retaining 90%+ of its original blue finish, with only assorted minor spotting on the frame above the grips. The grips fit perfectly, retain most all of their original finish, with assorted very minor handling marks. It appears to having been fired very little, with an" as new" bore and a perfectly functioning action. A very nice example of its type.
