Colt Commander Model 1911 .45ACP semi automatic pistol, dated to 1967. *SOLD* This pistol features the "Lightweight Commander" sized alloy frame, with a blued steel slide with the Commander length barrel. The pistol has all of the standard 1911 controls, with a lanyard loop hammer and curved mainspring housing, as well as custom checkered hardwood grip panels. The pistol is in good working order, with some finish wear and small blemishes, as seen in the photos. The action is smooth with very little play in the parts, likely from the aftermarket Barsto barrel being very precisely fitted to the slide. The bore is in excellent shape and the trigger is light and crisp. Includes one Kimber 7rd magazine. Please refer to the photos to further assess the condition of the pistol. No handgun sales in MA.
