Description:
Beautiful, high condition, Colt SAA revolver in .45cal. with superb old carved steer head pearl grips, shipped to Los Angeles, CA in 1931 as a special order 1 gun shipment. This gun still retains a very high percentage of it's original finish, the case coloring on the frame and hammer are still very nice on this gun. (see pics). Only wear to speak of is on the grip straps from handling. All of the factory markings are very nice and clear. The mechanics are excellent with all 4 clicks and are crisp and tight. The bore is like new and still shines. All serial #'s match, including the last 2 digits on the back of the cylinder. (see pics). The old pearl steer head grips are in very good condition, and are solid. Comes with a period leather double loop holster and factory archive letter. This is a great looking pre war Colt single action revolver, that has a lot of eye appeal going for it, and it would be hard to find a better looking one than this gun, for the price!! Please ask questions if desired. Must be shipped to an FFL or C&R license, since made after 1898. Buyer to pay $30.00 shipping, which includes the insurance to the lower 48 states.
