Description:
Nice early Remington 700 BDL Custom Deluxe chambered in 25-06 Remington. Manufactured in 1971, This rifle features a high polished blue finish, 24" barrel, hinged floor plate, jeweled bolt, and adjustable trigger. The monte carlo style walnut stock features white line spacers, black forend tip and grip cap, sling swivel studs and pressed fleur de lis checkering pattern typical of the era. The original butt plate is present and the L.O.P. is the factory 13-1/2". The bore is bright with strong rifling. The rifle retains approximately 95% of its original blue finish with various handling marks, high edge wear and an area of thining on the left side of the barrel just forward of the receiver. The stock shows some handling marks typical of a rifle that has been used but not abused. The rifle comes with Weaver bases and rings and a Bushnell 3-9X scope with clear glass and duplex reticle. 25-06 is a scarce chambering in a Remington 700 of this vintage and they do not come around often. This would make an excellent hunting rifle capable of taking anything from varmints up to and including deer sized game.
