The Winchester Model 62/62A was made from 1932 to 1958 with over 409,000 manufactured. These little rifles were a modern version of the 1890 and were fitted with a 23 inch tapered round or octagon barrel and chambered in .22 LR or .22 Short and .22 Short "Gallery Model". This 1949 vintage Model 62A "Gallery" rifle is fitted with a 23 inch round tapered barrel and a loading tube with the Gallery style loading port. The rifle has been shot, but very little from its near mint condition. The bore is bright and the action functions perfectly. Comes with its orignal box, sorry, no other paper-work.
