Exceptional all original condition German 7.65mm Parabellum pistol manufactured by DWM after WW1 expressly for commercial export to the United States and other countries. Chambered in 30 Luger caliber as introduced in the Model 1900 and maintained when minor changes were incorporated into the subsequent Pistole 1908, the iconic Luger P08. This stunning century old example retains 98 to 99 percent of it's luxurious rust blue finish and is handsomely complimented by near perfect strawed small parts requisite to these finely crafted firearms. Close examination of this P08 reveals a bright shiny bore along with virtually untouched and blemish free interior areas correctly in the white from new. Hints of slight wear at the prominent edges serve to confirm the remarkable extent of original finish still found on this historic handgun. All aspects pertaining to originality are consistent throughout to include the minty grips, the correct magazine properly import stamped on the bottom and all necessary matching numbers and proofs appropriate to this model and period. This blue-chip Luger P08 clearly will qualify in the top one percent of all similar examples of the period and would be extremely difficult to upgrade. Additional photographs are available.
