This is a beautiful and unique Cooper Model 52 Classic with a factory deluxe Maple stock. This Cooper was bought new and put into storage, never once fired since leaving the Montana factory. Cooper rifles are well known for being top of the line semi-custom rifles built from the best materials by highly skilled gunsmiths. Cooper guarantees that their rifles will shoot at least a 1/2 MOA and as you can see from the test target on this rifle, many shoot groups much better than that. This .25-06 caliber bolt-action repeating rifle is built on the firm's famous Model 52 action and finished in matte blue, and has a 24" inch barrel, a 3-round detachable box magazine, and a factory adjustable trigger. It was special ordered with a beautiful and striking deluxe Maple stock. The figure and "stripe" in this stock is gorgeous. The horizontal stripes that run the length of the stock look like they are floating in 3-D over top of the wood underneath. Additional extra cost options on this rifle are a steel grip cap, factory installed sling studs, and factory installed Warne scope bases. As the title of the listing suggests, this rifle is like-new and has no signs of wear, handling marks, or deductions of any kind. It is in exactly the same condition now as it was the day it left the factory in 2014. The action is butter smooth but precise, the bore is flat mint, and the factory adjustable trigger breaks like a glass rod at the current settings. This Cooper comes with the original box complete with the owner's manual and the unreal factory test target which lists the load data the factory used to test fire the rifle. The .25-06 chambering is an ideal long range and big game cartridge. This caliber is known for being inherently accurate and flat shooting. This rifle is as nice as it gets. If you have been looking for a unique rifle that will turn heads at the range or hunting camp but still perform like a purpose-built no-nonsense tack-driver, this Cooper would be an excellent choice!
