Description:
This "NEW in the BOX" pistol was manufactured to commemorate the U.S. victory in the pistol accuracy competition at the 1980 Olympic Games in Moscow. It has two weights on the bottom of the ported barrel, blade front and adjustable target notch rear sights, and checkered target grips. It is marked with ".22 SHORT" followed by a trigger logo on the left rear of the barrel over "OLYMPIC" on the frame. "-HIGH-/STANDARD" in two lines on the left rear of the slide, the Olympic rings on the right side of the slide, the two line address on the right side of the barrel, and the commemorative serial number "USA0151" on the right side of the frame. These markings are highlighted in gold fill, and the trigger, magazine catch, and safety also have a gold plated finish. It comes in a High Standard hardwood case with fitted red lined interior. There is slight damage to the red liner (see photo). Included is the Original Letter from H.S., The Box and liner for the Pistol and the box for the Display case. The Only thing missing is the key.
