If you have been looking for a nice honest pre-64 Winchester Model 94 Carbine for your collection that you could also enjoy at the range, this is it. This 1957 vintage Winchester Model 1894 Carbine is chambered in the popular .30-30 Winchester caliber and is in perfect working order. The blue finish is the original factory finish and only shows some light wear and some handling marks from being used over the years. The bore in this carbine is excellent. It is bright and clean with no pitting, erosion, or visible imperfections and still shows nice sharp rifling. The Walnut stock set on this Model 94 is original and is in great shape overall. It shows one very minor crack in the wrist on the left side that has been repaired and is 100% solid. Outside of that, the stock set has a nice patina with a pleasing look to it, and is free from any damage outside of some minor handling marks. The barrel bands are original on this Winchester but the original buttplate was apparently lost somewhere over the years, and has been replaced with a post-64 Winchester checkered metal buttplate. The original factory iron sights are still intact and complete with the elevator, and all of the controls on this rifle and the action function perfectly. All in all, a nice used example of one of the most famous American lever action carbines ever made.
