Jerry Fisher --- Custom Winchester Model 70 Engraved by Robert Swartley --- 7mm Rem. Mag. 23" tapered round barrel. Figured walnut stock with ebony forend tip, inletted swivel bases, classic borderless point-pattern checkering wrapping fully under the forend and over the wrist, steel capped pistol grip, classic comb with beaded cheekpiece, gold oval inletted into toe, and Pachmayr solid black rubber recoil pad. Pre-'64 Winchester Model 70 action with 2-panel checkered bolt knob, cloverleaf rear tang, built-up and checkered bolt stop, and custom bottom metal with hinged straddle floorplate release inside triggerguard. Redfield 3-9x scope with 4A duplex reticle on sculptured Conetrol mounts. Extensively engraved by Robert Swartley with acanthus scroll on breech, swivel bases, scope mounts, bottom metal and grip cap. And, with a baying bull elk in high relief on the bright-finished floorplate and a whitetail buck's head on the gold oval. Barrel signed "Jerry Fisher - Kalispell, Montana". Floorplate signed "By R D Swartley". Pull: 13 3/4". Weight: 9lbs, 1oz. Virtually new condition.
