Description:
Special order carbine with plain pistol grip walnut stock and shotgun style buttplate. Chambered for 30-30 cartridge. 20 inch barrel. Special order button mag and eyes for a Winchester sling. Gun is in nice condition with a good bore and crisp action. 3-leaf platinum lined rear sight and a Lyman front. Wood is in excellent condition with a good amount of varnish. British Crown over V proof mark on receiver. Early antique serial number. Correct saddle ring. Gun comes with the Cody Research Form confirming all the mentioned features except the sling eyes. Good looking antique firearm.
