New items added daily! Description: This is a rare 1903 Springfield rifle that is documented in the book US Marine Corps Scout Sniper by Peter R. Senich on pages 3 & 4. It is also photoed and documented in the book The Complete Book of Sniping. We purchased the gun at where they were selling a collection of sniper rifles. This one sold at a large premium and we are proud to offer it to our Legacy customers. It is serial number 454040 and dated on the barrel 12/13. The metal retains about 90% of its parkerized and blued finishes. All numbered parts are matching including the stock. Both the stock and the barrel are marked USMC. It has a Winchester B5 telescopic with with excellent optics. There is provenance that comes with the rifle that shows it to be a genuine example of a Marine Corps sniper rifle, detailed in 2 well respected books on the subject.
