Description:
This is a rare 1903 Springfield rifle that is documented in the book US Marine Corps Scout Sniper by Peter R. Senich on pages 3 & 4.  It is also photoed and documented in the book The Complete Book of Sniping.   We purchased the gun at where they were selling a collection of sniper rifles.  This one sold at a large premium and we are proud to offer it to our Legacy customers.   It is serial number 454040 and dated on the barrel 12/13.   The metal retains about 90% of its parkerized and blued finishes.   All numbered parts are matching including the stock.  Both the stock and the barrel are marked USMC.   It has a Winchester B5 telescopic with with excellent optics.  There is provenance that comes with the rifle that shows it to be a genuine example of a Marine Corps sniper rifle, detailed in 2 well respected books on the subject. Guaranteed authentic and original.
