Canadian Manufacture Long Branch The year of manufacture is 1950
The bore and chamber look perfect. The rifle may be unfired.
It is mechanical correct in all respects.
Does not appear to have ever been in the hands of troops.
The blueing is unblemished no rust or pitting. The bolt number matches the receiver. The finish on the bolt show wear from being operated.
All markings are sharp and clear.
The stock is well finished. The grain is straight there are no cracks although there are a few dings from handeling. There is an inspector’s stamp on the wrist behind the trigger guard.
The magazine still has cosmoline inside.
The bayonet is stamped: No. 4 Mk ll There are other notations.
