Description:
Parker Brothers T Lifter 10 Ga. Hammer gun. This gun was made in 1876 identified by the serial number. As you can see the wood has been refinished to a tasteful hue that brings out the original stock's grain. The 32 inch barrels snug up tight to the gun's receiver. All metal is in very good shape (no rust) and the Damascus barrels are just beautiful. Triggers pull back solid and lock in place with no play what so ever.All three parts to the gun, action,barrels and fore end metal, match on the serial number. Barrel markings show serial number, a large D (for Damascus),4 with a small 8, for weight,a number 2 stamped in two places which I beleive is the frame size, as well as number 7774 with the numural 2 just above.
This gun has three small cracks at the stock head which have been repaired but are still noticable if you look hard.
Gun will also include a custom made plexiglas show case which has a very small crack on one side at the top. Would not be able to see if you didn't know where to look.
Any shipping and insurance must be paid for by the buyer. No clearing cost fees because of age of this gun.
This gun could be used for Vintagers Events or for hunting if you had a set of Briley tubes fitted!
I have owned this firearm for over 35 years and had many compliments on the classic beauty of a Parker Brothers Side by Side Hammer gun that is over 143 years old. A perfect display for any gun room or den.
