Description:
A nice colt Python with vented 2.5" barrel in Royal Blue - the gun does have some minor handling issues of which I have taken pictues of to show. Of note is the one behind the right side of the cylinder and the rub mark where the barrel meets the frame also on the right side. Action is good and tight with little play. Original service grips with sharp checkering. It has a box but it is not original. Any Colt box will bring an extra $100 nowadays. Anyway, it's a box and it fits well so it's worth it for protection if nothing else. Inspector marks on the trigger guard are nice and sharp indicating it has not been refinished. Also has some factory manuals and an Archive Letter from Colt stating it was made in 1971. It's not a top tier revolver but I'm not asking $4500+ for it either.
