Description:
Metal condition is overall fair given the age of the rifle. The majority of the bluing on the receiver is gone and the exposed metal has taken on a patina. There seems to be something like lacquer on the metal in areas (see pictures), Seems free of obvious rust. The center screw on the top tang is either not part of the original design at all or was replaced with a mismatched screw.The wood has seen better days. It wears its age in the form of chips and scratches with the occasional gouge (see pictures). There is a small crack on the top behind the tang that goes from it to the chunk that is missing.
